St. Augustine, Florida is known for its rich history, picturesque streets, and delicious cuisine. Out of everything this town has to offer, the best places to experience all of these in one is at the St. Augustine Farmers Market, held every Wednesday from 8am to 12pm at the St. Augustine Beach Pier.
As a team filming an episode of the new web series, "Old City Livin'," we were thrilled to spend a morning at the market, getting to know the local vendors and learning about all the amazing products they had to offer. From local art to organic food, there was truly something for everyone at the market.
One of our favorite highlights was the local art on display. From paintings to hand-carved bowls made from olive trees, there was a wealth of beautiful and unique pieces to admire. We also got to watch a vendor make hand-made popcorn, which was not only delicious but also fascinating to see.
Another highlight of the market was the selection of organic food on offer. There were vendors selling everything from fresh produce to artisanal cheeses and handmade pastries. We loved trying some of the local specialties and chatting with the vendors about the ingredients and cooking methods used to make them.
In addition to food, there was a wide variety of other products available, including local jewelry and handmade soaps. We were particularly impressed by the selection of locally made beauty products, which included everything from all-natural skincare to handmade candles.
Overall, the St. Augustine Farmers Market was an amazing experience. From the friendly vendors to the diverse selection of products, we loved every moment of our time there. If you're in the area, we highly recommend stopping by the market to see everything it has to offer. Just remember, it happens every Wednesday morning from 8am-12pm, so be sure to set aside some time to fully enjoy this amazing local event!
Thank you to all the vendors and artists who took the time out to talk with us about their products and art!
